The story
Nakheel is closely associated with Dubai’s coastal expansion and some of the city’s largest master-planning initiatives. Nakheel frequently operates as a master developer responsible for land, infrastructure, community planning, and public realm. Consequently, individual buildings inside a Nakheel destination may be developed directly by Nakheel or by separate private developers.
Key achievements
Palm Jumeirah is one of the world’s best-known reclaimed-land developments and remains a defining symbol of Dubai. Nakheel states that its waterfront projects have added more than 300 kilometres to Dubai’s original coastline.
